I have an iPad model A1474 which is late year 2013-2014, I also have a first generation Apple Pencil. Is there any way to be able to use this pencil with this iPad?
No. The iPad Air1 does not support Apple Pencil. The Pencil interacts with specific screen hardware that is not present in early models of iPad.
