iPhone 11 turning on and off every couple of seconds.

Hi there,

I have an iPhone 11 that was purchased around May last year which has randomly had some issues. Today it went from 93% and randomly turned off and showed the apple logo. At first I assumed an automatic update had occurred but then it kept flashing the apply logo on and off and alternated between that and a black screen. I assumed my phone was gone after that but then it turned on, I managed to do a software update and after it was completed I thought that was the end of it. I just tried to use it and it switched off once again and showed the apple logo for a split second before switching off and now every time I try to turn it back on it flashes the lock-screen for less than a second and then turns off again.

You can try a "forced" restart of your device, using these instructions:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support

If the issue persists, it might be a harwdare glitch. You can:

Contact Apple Support directly (they have tools to run remote diagnostics), using this link:--> Get Support

or make an appointment at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider and have your device inspected.

I’ve had it on charge for less than 2 minutes and it has gone from 10% to 23%. This is so odd! Definitely taking the phone to apple as it’s still under warranty.

Thank you for your response. I forgot to mention it only works if it’s plugged into a power source. Definitely think it has something to do with the battery... although, this is odd since the battery health is still 98%!

Wise decision. It might be a faulty battery or charging port glitch. But we, just users like you cannot diagnose that kind of issue remotely.
