Airdrop is not working

Hi,

I have this issue, I can't airdrop my photos from phone to my Mac. I tried restart both and still unable to airdrop.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

why is my airdrop send some pictures not all the pictures I try to airdrop pictures from my iPhone XR to the MacBook, most the pictures I can send it through... there is few pictures it dose not go through , it says airdrop failing. What is that mean? Why just some pictures that does not go through?
