Adding old phone to my Apple account

My husband finally got a new iPhone and we want to use his old iPhone6+ for the kids to play game and use wifi in the house. All the kids apps are associated with my account. How to I remove his ID and add mine to the 6+? We already do that with my old phone, but it already was associated with my ID.

Hi brakada,

We understand you'd like to sign into a new Apple ID account on your iPhone. We're happy to help.

To sign out of the current account, navigate to Settings > your name at the top, then scroll to the bottom of the page and select Sign Out. Once you have fully signed out of that account, you can go ahead and sign into the Apple ID account you'd like to start using on that device.

Sign in with your Apple ID

We hope this helps. Take care!
