Blocking Numbers on Different iPhones

my Sons iphone is connected to mine through Apple ID. Can I block a number from his phone but keep it unblocked on mine? When I block a number on his phone the same number gets blocked on mine.

You should NOT be sharing an ID with anyone. Your son needs his own. If he is under 13, you must use Family Sharing to create one for him.

Get separate ID's.

There is no need to share one nor are they meant to be shared.
