Several Apple and 3rd party apps randomly "jump" to the top of the document, for no apparent reason after touching the screen someplace.
Given this happens in multiple apps, and both Apple and 3rd party, what might be going on?

The problem occurs within numerous apps, both Appel and 3rd party. It only happens within apps. The behavior is always the same, iPadOS somehow makes the app to go the top of the app, far away from where I tapped. It happens only when I tap someplace in the app, but not always.
So it appears to NOT be a specific app problem, but rather an iPadOS problem.
