Migration Assistant M1 MacBook Air to M1 MacBook Pro
I'm attempting to migrate data from an M1 MacBook Air to an M1 MacBook Pro. I've connected the computers to each other using the USB-C cable that came with the Pro. I've gone through the steps to boot the Air into recovery options and been able to use the "Share Disk" feature.
On the Pro I can see the Air in Finder in the Network section, but when I try to open the data from the Air I get the message "The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “Macintosh HD” can’t be found."
When I open Migration Assistant on the Pro, it just spins and never finds the connected Air to migrate the data.
Both drives have FileVault enabled, but I unlocked the drive on the Air in order to enable disk sharing.
Any thoughts, or something I'm missing?
Thanks
