I just upgraded from iPhone 8 to 12 and the phone is not discovering my Bluetooth headset. Advice?
I don't know why this worked, but I plugged the headset into recharge (for just a few minutes), put it in pairing mode (again) and the phone found it. Paired!

Is any device it was paired with previously nearby and on?
The old phone has been reset. I just turned it off, let's see...
That is the most likely reason your new phone wasn't seeing it if it was in pairing mode.
no, it still will not discover the headset.
The old paired phone is off. I restarted the 12, which didn't work. The 12 IS discovering another device in the house but not the headset, which is in pairing mode.
