FLAC To ALAC for Windows

Researching for a friend and I came across this thread for converting FLAC to ALAC for Windows users:

I wanted to mention for any other Windows users that the "solved" response to this question is not great. FLAC and ALAC are both LOSSLESS codecs (the "L" in both acronyms). This means they are compressed without any loss of audio quality. The solution links to a "MobileHuman Audio Converter" and another web site for conversion. NEITHER of these solutions offers a lossless conversion and, judging by their sites as well as many others you'll find doing a search for converters, you stand a non-zero chance of getting infected with some form of adware or malware, etc.

Bottom line: https://www.foobar2000.org

It's free/open source. It's been around forever. It's no frills, but with the available add-on pack of free converters this will merrily convert FLAC to ALAC with zero quality loss (therefore VERY fast too!) and I've used it on Windows for ages.
