Office 365 Upgrade purchase thru Apple

I am trying to upgrade my Microsoft 365 subscription from Personal to Family but am prevent due to purchasing thru Apple - any suggestions? Do I need to cancel my Apple subscription and purchase thru Microsoft instead?

If the developer has not enabled upgrading of subscription you can't upgrade it.

You would need to cancel it, and either buy the family subscription via Apple, or Microsoft.
