How do you change the name of your MacBook Pro not your login password? I bought my computer off my friend and it has her name as the owner?

I bought my MacBook Pro from my friend and I can log in under myself as administrator but the name of the MacBook Pro is under her name and I am trying to change it to myself?

Hi,

System Preferences > Sharing, then change Computer Name should works.

This is what your friend needs to do

It needs to be signed out of the seller’s Apple ID as well.
