Heart rate data not showing on NRC app on iPhone

When I go for a run, I use the NRC app. I start the workout on my phone but wear my watch for HR data. The problem is that it doesn’t display it live, which would be fine if it logged it all when it syncs after I’ve finished, but it only displays part of the runs HR data.

Oddly, I’ll go into the activity app afterwards and it’ll show logged HR data for the entire run.

I have read other threads about making sure that ‘All Metrics’ are enabled which I have done.

Is there anything else I’m doing wrong?

Hi Griff3004,

It sounds like your heart rate data isn't showing in the Nike+ Run Club App during your workouts, but shows up afterward. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities, and we can provide some assistance.

Is "Power Saving Mode" enabled on your Apple Watch for workouts? Power saving mode preserves battery life on long workouts by calculating, but not sending your workout data. Let's follow the steps in the section, "Save power while you work out" in Use the Workout app on your Apple Watch and if it's on, turn that feature off.

If the issue remains after following those steps, let us know what watchOS version you're currently running.

We hope that helps with your question and take care!

Hi Griff3004,

Did the Activity app capture the workout data? If so, then it sounds like it might be an issue with the Nike+ Run Club App. You can verify a few things first with your Apple Watch to help figure out where the issue is.

Let's double-check if you need to update your Apple Watch and apps.

If you don't have any updates, you may find a helpful bullet point Indoor/Outdoor that goes over that location services needs to be enabled in:

If the issue remains, we suggest contacting the app developer next:

Best!
