Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
I bot a new iPhone 12 mini, went through the transfer of data from the old phone to the new one. All went good, except a number of the apps reflect a status of updating but they seem stuck in limbo. I have shut down the phone but that did not remedy the issue. The new pone updated to the latest iOS 14.4.1
any ideas?
I came across this myself.. and I've suggested this to a few people, but so far hasn't really seem to help others..
I went to Settings > App Store and turned off both of the switches under Automatic Downloads. I may have restarted the phone after that. Seemed to jump start things for me (twice it worked for me actually because I did a test restore on my previous phone)
Once they started downloading I turned those switches back on.

Depends on the apps you have on old iPhone.
FYI: Apps are not transferred from old iPhone but re-dowmloaded from your App Store purchased list.
Make sure:
The same happened to me, and my best friend. Try connecting to WiFi... make sure WiFi is fast as well. My best friend was eager to use his new phone and had connected to his coworker’s hot spot, that too made it slow... but as soon as you connect to a fast WiFi... you will see the difference.

BTW - I set up another iPhone 12 mini 4 hours earlier and had zero issues....
Well I do not know which of the cures listed in this post was the right one.... but I just noticed that apps are updating... go figure...
