Hi please can someone help me. My computer froze and when I restarted it I was given a folder with a question mark. I have done all the different reboots but nothing is working. When pressing “command R” and do a internet reboot I have found the error. My startup disk cannot be found. It is as though my MacBook cannot find its hard drive. I am not sure what to do or how to fix this.

How to reset the SMC of your Mac and perform this action 3 times in a row. If successful - good. If not - Hole Option key immediately at restart and choose Macintosh HD
Lean towards Failed HD / SSD even if no Firmware message appearing - but just a guess without addition info
Your Hard Drive may have died, do you hav an external drive you can install to?
I cannot find the Macintosh HD. That’s the whole problem my MacBook is not picking up any startup disk
unfortunately this did not work
I tried but it said that the was no firmware was found
