can apple's Touch ID ditect between the fingerprint of a living and deceased person?
Capacitive touch doesn’t work with dead tissue. And police have reportedly tried, such as reported in several news sources, like the Tampa Bay Times which reported Florida police tried to use the fingers of a suspected drug dealer they shot. They said they were unable to open his phone (not sure what kind of smart phone it was). That news report was in 2018.
