My Iphone 12 front camera lags when I make timelapse video. Working fine on 11 and 11 pro.

Ensuring your camera features are working as expected on your iPhone 12 is important. You mentioned that the camera lags with the front-facing camera. Do you have issues when attempting to take a Time-lapse video with the rear-facing camera? Is your iPhone stabilized on a table or tripod when using Time-lapse? Do you notice any quality issues when you're playing the video back after you're done recording the video in Time-lapse?
Also, since having this issue have you restarted the iPhone and confirmed that you're running the latest iOS? If not, restart and update your device next.
