Airplay display Mac to Mac

Unfortunately, no. You cannot use another Mac as a display unless it is an iMac meeting the requirements. However, you can use Screen Sharing or AirPlay Mirroring.

Yes, you can use a mac as an Airplay display, but you need additional software to do so.

I use AirServer, but there are other alternatives.
