the altimeter does not work

I found the solution to the altimeter error !!!

If it does not work, delete the 3rd party barometer application from your phone and it will repair. Restart the watch and it already works :)))

It seems the always-on altimeter doesn't operate; neither in the compass app, nor within complications, I can see any altitude value, just "--" symbol instead . Compass and GPS coordinates are properly displayed. All localization services are set to ON, on my iPhone too. Watch OS and iOS both updated today to latest release (7.0.1, 14.0.1) I've also tried to reinitialize watch, without solving. Anyone the same issue? Apple Watch 6 elevation / barometer not working Hi everybody, I got my new Apple Watch 6 yesterday, everything's working as expected except the elevation (eg. in the compass app). The weird thing is that position (lat + long) is displayed correctly. Instead of showing the current elevation, it only shows ---. I did research the whole evening yesterday, went through a dozen of guides, but the issue persists. I also didn't find anybody having three dashes displayed, most people experiencing issues had "0" shown for elevation or accuracy problems. The watch is paired with my iPhone 8 Plus. I somehow have the feeling that the barometer might be defect. Did anybody experience the same / similar issue? Thanks a lot for any help, very much appreciated! Best

altimeter on apple watch 6 The altimeter worked for three months after the purchase, and now it does not show the altitude. Resetting the settings didn't help. I use a watch with a silicone strap from the box. What to do?
