Wireless Charging On iPhone 7 Plus ?

If you didn’t know already the iPhone 8 Plus is equipped with built in wireless charging. The enclosure for the components inside the iPhone 8 is glass which make wireless charging possible but on the other hand the 7 plus is aluminum. And both 7 & 8 plus Look almost like the same phones.

But would it be possible to use the iPhone 8 plus enclosure on the iPhone 7 plus ?
