Apple Watch pauses every 11 seconds during Workout since update

I updated my Apple Watch recently and since then, my workout pause every 11 seconds. I can’t use the workout app anymore and seen as though this is my main use, it’s very frustrating. How can I resolve this. I have an older watch - series 3.

The Training app suddenly pauses the time on my Apple Watch during my workout When i’m training while wearing my apple watch and using the training app, it suddenly pauses the time during my workout. The other day while i was running, it suddenly paused itself. It did so maybe 4-5 times. I get it if it puts my workout on pause because i’m actually taking a pause, but it pauses my workout while i’m actually working out and it has become very much annoying. Any chance the Power Saving Mode is on? Check under Settings > Workout
