MS Teams battery drain
Anyone here using Microsoft Teams for online class or online meetings? I've been using MS teams for classes and it seems my battery drains a lot faster, is this normal or what?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

The rule of thumb for Notebook computers— if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need portability then run on the battery. Your Mac will never over charge. It does not damage the battery—it gives your battery a longer life span.

How much RAM?
RAM is intended for multitasking. So, if you have less than 8GB of RAM, then things will likely overheat, if you run something high-end on your Mac.
View the Activity Monitor:
To see what is using most of the RAM view it using the Activity Monitor, Close whatever it is. Perhaps, it is a scan that is always going on in the background. Go Here: View memory usage in Activity Monitor on Mac.
Rid of the Security Software:
Moreover: Rid your Mac of that A/V and Security Software. It's unneeded on a Mac, as it just gets in the way. This is a pure example of it getting in the way. I see no icon on that message window referring to an app. You are getting that message most likely because of the software installed that is used for managing your Mac.
Use an Uninstaller for the Software:
Removing Security Software from your Applications folder will not rid of it all, as much of it will remain in your system cache. So, contact the developer and request the uninstaller.

Seems like any high demand video interface is going to pull significantly on the battery— this seems normal.
Hard to believe a MS product is optimized in any way for a Mac computer(?)
If you are near the mains plug it in. Save your cycle count, the battery will last longer...
