How do I get the loop to not change pitch when flex time?

Hey there,

Are you using Flex Pitch or Flex Time? Also. can you confirm that you are listening to the Loops in the Song Key and not in their Original Key?

flex time unavailiable for project I am trying to use flex time on a vocal track in my project but it is completely unavailable. When I click 'show/hide flex' in the tool bar nothing happens, nothing at all. no options to choose flex mode, no analysing, nothing! Stop Flex Time from making changes In the old version of Flex Time, I could turn it on on a track and then move things around as I needed. Now, when I turn it on on a track, it makes all these timing moves BEFORE I do anything to it. I'm working on a track with distorted guitars and just need the downbeats to line up a bit better. Just want to nudge that one bit forward a little.e But when I turn flex time on, it has changed the timing of the entire track! I started going through and moving everything back, but it was insane. Is there a setting that will just add the flex markers WITHOUT it makings any moves first? Thanks.

'Play from selection' no longer works with Flex Pitch Hi there. I'm using Flex Pitch a lot, as I find it a faster tool than Melodyne to fix pitch and timing on vocal tracks. I've benne using the shortcut 'play from selection' to check my edits on the fly. After the prior Logic update it starts from the beginning of the section even if the selected flex bar is in the end. It's really annoying and ruins the otherwise fast workflow. Play from selection works fine in piano roll,
