IPhone or car bluetooth audio buffering

I am using an IPhone X and connect it using Bluetooth with a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Usually, it works and have no issues for like 3 years. However, recently (last week), I connected to it and it just keeps buffering or stuttering for like every half a second everytime I played Spotify. I tried to repair my device and the car and turning it off as well, but it keeps doing it. I actually connected my IPhone to some other Bluetooth devices like my headphones and even an another car and it has no problems. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue? Is it an IPhone issue or a car issue?
