How to fix Carplay disconnecting from my 2018 Subaru?
When I first purchased my car back in 2018 I was able to use CarPlay for hours with little to no issues on my iPhone X. When I upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro I have not been able to connect my phone for roughly 30 minutes on Apple CarPlay without being disconnected. At first I thought it was my phone so I tried trouble shooting the issue using my girlfriends phone, however, the same thing happened with her phone. I then thought it may have been the car, but I have taken the car back to the dealership to get serviced as well as reset the radio multiple times. Now I am at the point where I can’t use CarPlay without it crashing after 20 minutes of use and I feel like it’s only getting worse. It has been very distracting and at times made me miss an exit because I didn’t know where I was going. Can the new charging on the iPhone 11 Pro be shorting my connection?
