iPhone 12 static noise when connect to AUX

I've had my iPhone 12 for a few days and when connected to an Aux I have terrible static feedback. this didn't have with my iPhone 11 it was perfectly fine.

  1. I have tried different Aux cable, different Aux to lightning adapters.
  2. It happens when connect to my car and connected to headphones but does work phone with air pods over Bluetooth.

Is this an issue on the iPhone 12? I've see others have had it and I was told to get my phone service?1 I've had it 2 days surly a brand new device shouldn't need a service after 2 days.

Thanks for clarifying. At this point, since you've tested multiple Apple-branded adapters and EarPods, the next best step is to have your iPhone physically inspected.

Hello DannyHem,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We'd like to help with any concerns regarding hearing static on your iPhone 12. You mention this seems to only be an issue when using an adapter with headphones and not with any Bluetooth.

Are you referring to an adapter like this?

Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter

If so, have you tested with an Apple-branded adapter? Are you using Apple EarPods with that adapter as well? Finally, we'd recommend checking your iPhone port for any dirt or debris. Here are the best instructions to clean your iPhone:

Take care.
