disk not compatible - this unit... Ciao guys I have a customer with a Mac mini - late 2014 with Mojave . Every time it starts up, a message appear on top right with a generic icon, and it shows ( more or less ): "Disk not compatible. This disk uses functionalities not supported by this system..." Installing macOS High Sierra Error Hello, I just replaced my old HDD for a SSD in my MacBook Unibody Mid 2010, and my laptop is working better than ever. I even upgraded the ram from 2 to 8 Gbs, so i decided that i was time to try the newest macOS compatible with my laptop (High Sierra 10.13.6), so I downloaded the file from Apple Store and when it started the restart cycle i get this error "macOS could not be installed on your computer. File System verify or repair failed. Quit the installed to restart your computer and try again." I was wondering if anyone know a way to correctly install the newest version of macOS in this device. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

If you are still using HFS+ file system, you need to update to APFS file system.
