display midi while recording audio

Hi everyone,

I want to LOOK at my midi while recording audio. Not possible anymore in LOGIC X.

Often while i am recording audio, i would like to have the notes of a certain midi track on display.

This used to be possible in Logic, but now, when i have a certain midi track on display, the content disappears when i hit the record button to record audio. This is because Logic expects you to record also midi i guess, but what if i only what to record audio but just LOOK at the midi.

I could of course export my midi as a PDF score and then look at the score, but then i don't have the playhead guiding me to tell me where i am in the score. That is of course very usefull .

Can anyone help me please ?

Thank you

Jeroen
