Epson 16600 Ecotank Printer keeps showing as offline

Restarting the printer does not help. When I restart the computer, everything comes up normally. I don't WANT to have to restart the computer every single time I want to print something. it's terribly inconvenient especially when I'm working on multiple things and I have the save and close everything. This happens all the time.... I know in Windows, you can perform steps like resetting the Print Spooler service and that will give it a good kick in the pants, but I want to find the "No I don't want to reboot my Macbook" option to fix this. Any thoughts...?

Thank you ahead of time.

Hello jamesredd1,

It sounds as though your printer is showing offline on your Mac, and you're having to restart the Mac to get the printer to show online again. Restarting the printer and Mac are great troubleshooting steps to help isolate the issue, and work towards a resolution. To clarify a bit further, are you printing wirelessly to your printer? If so, try the steps outlined int he following article provided by Epson.

I see the message Printer is Offline when I try to print with a wireless connection on my Mac. what should I do?

Have a great week!
