Macbook - Startup - Battery

Hello,

I have a "13 inch, 2017," MacBook pro running macOS Big Sur 11.2.1. I recently noticed a battery problem.

I turn off my mac with still enough battery (eg 70%). When I want to turn it back on, it says the battery is empty and won't turn on. So I have to put the plug, start it and once start it indicates the normal battery status (eg 70%).

The battery does not appear to be worn out, and the number of cycles is not particularly high (around 400).

I tried to follow this procedure (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295) to reset SMC, followed by 2 full cylces (0-100%) to recalibrate the battery, without success ...

I don't know what to do anymore .. any idea?

Thanking you in advance for your help,

Regards,

MacBook Pro

Try an SMC Reset.

Also you are several updates behind since Big Sur is now as 11.2.3 with one update to help resolve battery charging issues on this specific model laptop.

Run the Apple Diagnostics to look for hardware issues.
