POOR photo printing quality

Why is the quality of my photos so bad when getting them printed from somewhere? They are sooooo grainy and just bad bad quality. Not trying to print anything big either, just like 4x6 size ish.

photo print quality poor since new 15.5 update on iPad. Photo print quality is poor since new IOS 15.5 update on iPad. Prints lack clarity and is darker, and border is gone. I have NOT changed any settings on iPad or printer, and other devices print good photo quality as before, so it’s only on my iPad. Printing to HP Officejet 7740. Anybody else having this problem?
