Apple keeps turning down my iPhone 11 volume, supposedly to protect my ears, but I’m just playing it back through my vehicle’s aux cord. So it’s effectively making the sound in my vehicle too low to hear.
How can I make this stop - and by the way, what document is Apple having us sign that authorizes Apple to be our mommy????

Every audio device available has a maximum sound volume. Does that mean every audio device manufacturer is a “mommy”?
Additionally, check Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety > Reduce Loud Sounds.

To stop the phone from automatically turning down the volume go to settings>sounds>reduce loud sounds and switch off the slider.

Using the current iOS version allows you to change settings on your devices.
Thanks but there’s no “reduce loud sounds” option.
Re “mommy” - you apparently misunderstood that part.
I found it under a different place - headphone safety, but it was not switched on.
