some apps are saying no internet connection and won’t work but others work and im connected to internet. ive restarted phone, reset all settings including network settings and updated to latest softwware and tried wifi but certain apps won’t work. Also deleted the apps and reloaded and still no good can someone please help iPhone 11 plus Pro

The intended purpose of VPN is to allow access to a private network such as a school or business when you are not on site. Any other use is risky, and can lead to problems like the one discussed in this thread. VPN disguises your location by making you appear to be somewhere else in the world. But you can’t control that “somewhere else”, and if it is in a location that an app isn’t approved for the app won’t work. Plus the fact that the provider of the VPN knows everything about you and your location, as well as what sites you access through the VPN. So you are totally dependent on the VPN provider’s honesty. As a start, if the VPN is free, DON’T USE IT. The provider has to make money somehow, and if you aren’t paying them then they are selling you to make money. But even those that charge can’t necessarily be trusted.

Where did you find in settings? Exactly. I have a 14 promax. What does it matter because everything is in the same place everywhere on our phones. Everything is always the same with updates.

You sir, are a genius! This problem was driving me nut and solved it instantly. The mind boggles that this should be the cause
Only thing left—short of discussions with the app vendors and Apple—is resetting your iPhone network.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Above assumes no VPN in use, and no profiles loaded, and no ”weird” DNS server settings in use.

Your iPhone passcode and potentially your Apple ID password are seemingly known to someone else, or you’ve been installing profiles and/or have a managed device.
The party that has configured this VPN on your iPhone is apparently inclined to monitor your network activities.
Might want to change your passcode.
Might also want check for other tracking, whether via iCloud or otherwise.
Possibly reset and reload, rather than looking for tracking apps and settings..
Change your Apple ID password if it’s your Apple ID that purchased the VPN app from the app store, too.

Thank you so much, my VPN was turned off so I didn't think it could be the problem, and I couldn't figure out how to delete the app, but when I searched as you suggested, delete was an option and that fixed my problem!! Not sure why it randomly started causing problems though. Anyway Thank you!!

In settings, general, VPN - there is no VPN connected! You can't delete anything because there's no VPN set up or connected
