migration assistant report
I migrated from my iMac to a new Mac Mini but there was not room to migrate all my date. How do I find out which files were NOT migrated. Is there a report I can access?

geofbal,
Thank you for returning to the Apple Support Communities with this information. We are glad you had the opportunity to transfer all this data. When performing this type of transfer, unchecking 'Other Files and Folders' will excluded moving documents and files from apps that were/are downloaded on your Mac.
Best regards!
Hello, geofbal!
Welcome to Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you want help finding out which files were not moved during Migration Assistant. We will do all we can to help get you pointed in the right direction. To verify, did you complete these steps in the article titled "Move your content to a new Mac" that you came to us from? If not, start there to transfer your data.
We have also included an additional article that can help.
Transfer your data to your new Mac mini
We hope this information helps you out.
Warm wishes.
Thank you for your reply.
To be a bit more concise, I did migrate from my iMac to my new Mac Mini, but because I only have a 256 Gb SSD, it told me I was trying to transfer too may files. Therefor, I deselected "Other files and folders" to complete the migration. I want to know what these "Other files and folders" are, but I have forgotten how many Gb's these were. I have compared all the folder sizes on my iMac and the Mini, and cannot see any discrepancies in the folder sizes, so I assume that everything was migrated. The Mac Mini works perfectly and I cannot (as yet) see if any files are missing. Is there a report somewhere (on my iMac?) that tells me what was NOT migrated (if some files were not?).
Many thanks.
