HomePod handoff not working.

So I have a 12 pro max and a brand new HomePod. Handoff to HomePod is turned and fitness tracking is turn on as well. Still can’t get it to hand off. Any other tips?

Thanks for posting. Handoff is a great feature, and we're happy to help. It looks like you're running into some issues using handoff with audio between an iPhone and a HomePod, correct?


To start, are both the iPhone and HomePod updated?


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Update HomePod


We also recommend double-checking to ensure that you're signed in on the iPhone with the Apple ID that's set up as the default for your HomePod, that iCloud Keychain is active, and that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.


If you've verified all of the above and updating doesn't help, try removing any cases you might have on the iPhone, restart the iPhone and HomePod, and test again. Let us know how it goes!
