iPhone XR - Problems listening to audio on bluetooth

I have a Honda in it has no Carplay.

I can listen to music on spotify and other apps, although when I try to listen to any audio on WhatsApp it is muted.

I tested it with Iphone X and Iphone 7 both in IOS version 14.4.1

I went to the dealership to check if there were any problems or firmware updates, although on Android it works normally.

I tried to change the device type in bluetooth and edit the connection to:

Car Stereo

Earphone

Speaker

Other

although it didn't work

The only way I found was to play the audio and then immediately block the phone or remove the whatsapp app in the foreground, so the audio is played normally.

Would there be any solution to this problem?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you can’t listen to any audio from WhatsApp over your car stereo.

If it’s just WhatsApp, you may want to try removing the app, restarting, and then reinstalling. Before doing this, make sure your WhatsApp conversations are backed up so no data is lost. You can reach out to WhatsApp for info on how to do this:
