Apple Watch Activation Lock

I bought an apple watch on marketplace. At first the activation lock stated it was linked to an Apple ID and to enter the Apple ID and password that were used to set up this apple watch. They did delete it from their account. Now it states this apple watch was lost and erased. Enter the Apple ID and password that were used to set up this Apple watch. How do I get this fixed so I can pair to my phone.
