IPad Pro Random Crashes

I have a 10.5” ipad pro with iPad OS 14.4.1

just recently, maybe after the last update, I have been getting frequent random crashes, especially from Flipboard and Reddit. The latest, from Flipboard, restarted the ipad. Most just crash the app.

I suspect there is something in this recent update that is causing this. Is anyone else experiencing this?

If it were something in the update (security fixes) we would have thousands of posts here.

We don't and it doesn't.
