Why am I constantly asked to log in with my Apple ID password to open a website where I have already saved the password for that site in Keychain? Is this a Big Sur issue? I didn't have this problem with Catalina on my old MacBook Air. I did change my ID password when I upgraded, but even so, it's annoying as heck to constantly have to type my ID password. Thanks

Have you checked Safari/Preferences/Passwords to see if the password is there? There is an Add button if necessary.
In Safari/Preferences/Passwords, select the entry, click Details... and enter the correct password. Or Remove the entry and add it back.

I solved the problem several days ago, before you replied, but tbh, I was unchecking things left and right, so I can't recall which was the "magic" button.
I checked my Safari Preferences and the password saved there is wrong.
