Apple watch not adjusting to different time zones

My 2020 apple watch won't adjust to different time zones. I've tried turning it off and back on, with no luck. It is connected to my iPhone 12 pro and while my phone changes times automatically, my watch doesn't. Any ideas???

Apple Watch Gen 1 Time Zone changes with iphone6plus? Hi Folks - I have a Gen1 Apple watch which is working fine and I realize its no longer supports new system upgrades however I recently traveled and the watch did not pick up the phones change in time zones which is inconvenient for its main purpose. Obviously when I go to software upgrades it simply spins the wheel and nothing happens. Not sure why the ability to change time zones is impacted which worked fine on the old software? Any ideas to get the time changed or is my watch restricted to its last time zone that works? - Thanks

Apple Watch Auto-Update Time The time zone is set as desired on iphone, and iphone is set to not auto update. The watch matches when connected via Bluetooth. If I move away from my phone and my watch connects to cell, it gets a time stamp from cell network and changes to another time zone. Apple needs to add an “auto update” toggle switch to the Apple Watch settings just like the iPhone setting under date/time. Seems like a simple thing to have overlooked.

Have you enabled ”Mirror my iPhone” for country/region and calendar too? However, what I gather that should not even matter. You should basically see the right zone on both at all times...
