March 24th 2021 ... Does anyone know why I can no longer cast with Airplay my HBO Max to my LG TV? I was able to do so a month or so ago ... but now My iPhone 12ProMax will not connect to my LG TV while I’m using the HBO Max app. FYI ... we’ve tried resetting cable box , router, shutting down/restarting iPhone, and updated both iPhone and the LG TV. Thanks in advance for any responses!!

To begin, are you able to test other apps to confirm that AirPlay works with them as expected? If that is the case, then this behavior would be isolated and it may be necessary to consult with the app developer for assistance. We were able to find this site Stream to your TV using AirPlay which covers the requirements for this process which include being on the same Wi-Fi network as your TV and that your TV be an AirPlay 2 compatible device.
