Assuming that the file that you wish to save is an email attachment, a long-touch (touch-and-hold) on the attachment icon will reveal a pop-up Action Menu. Depending upon the attachment file-type, the presented list of actions will reflect the installed Apps and available actions - but will typically include Save to Files, or Share.


Save to Files should be self-explanatory; you can navigate to the path in which you wish to save your file.


Tapping Share opens the Share Sheet - this providing a number of options to share the attachment with devices, or to open the file in a suitable App.
