Assuming that your Sony Speaker is a Bluetooth device, you will need to re-pair the device with your iPad.

Which keyboard works BEST with my apple iPad. The Z—g that I tried would not allow keystrokes for passwords to be visible. Also caused unacceptable levels of static when my Sony speaker was turned on
