I want to share some of my apps with my kids in Family share, but not all of them. Is there a way to select the ones I want to share?

You can hide the purchases you don't want to share.

Does that mean the apps never download on their devices? Or that they are there but the kids just can’t see them?
They shouldn't download and the kids can't see them.
Can I share only some of my apps with my kids but not all of them? Can I select which ones to share?
