No notifications on iPhone when linked to iWatch

I got my iWatch for Christmas and it worked fine until this week. I no longer get any notifications on my phone - only on watch. If I can’t have them on both like it used to, I’d prefer to just get them on my phone. I seriously want to throw this watch right now.

Setting Sleep focus alarm in iPhone won’t alarm on Apple Watch I have been using sleep focus and the associated alarm for several weeks now and have been trying to get the alarm (vibrate specifically) on my watch while I wear it sleeping. The alarm sounds and vibrates on my iPhone in the morning, but not my watch. What am I missing? Thanks!

Screen Time Request Issues Since the new IOS update 16.0 ive noticed issues with responding to the screen time request on both my phone and apple watch. Both are updated but now I only receive screen time requests via text message, when before I would get a notification in the banner. Previously I could push and hold the notification (on both my phone or apple watch) and it would pop up the option to approve 15minutes, 1 hour, all day or decline. Now on my apple watch i get the notification as a text message and am unable to approve or deny the request, the message says i need to go to messages on phone or mac to answer. I have not changed my settings on neither watch nor phone. Even on my phone i only get the request notifications via text, they no longer pop up in the banner as an actual notification to approve it. How can I fix this?? I dont want to keep getting text for the screen time requests, and I want to be able to once again approve request from my watch.

Thanks, I did check several online sources before posting here. This is not my issue.

A hard reset of my phone did the trick.
