I use the apple health app to track my step count every day. I just noticed the mobility metrics today, but everything there says no data available.
Even the 6 minute walking test has no data, yet activity tracking logs my 1-2 hour walks daily.

Oh, the mobility metrics are only available with applewatch? That would be it then, as I only have the iphone, no watch.
The mobility metrics on the iphone don't say anything about needing the apple watch and imply it uses the phone alone. oh well.
