I am running Mac Big Sur on my MacBook Air.
Nowadays, the "Create PDF" tool available from Quick Actions does not work anymore.
I select a file, then click on "Create PDF", a sound is heard, and... that's it. The PDF is not created.
Are some of you having the same type of issue?
If so, were you able to fix it?

FWIW, Create PDF only works with certain types of files., mostly image files. What files are you trying to apply it to?
Where are the files located? If you select one, right/control click on it and choose "Duplicate", does that work?
Same exact issue with me as well.
2 scenarios are possible in my case.
I try to use this feature mostly for the image files downloaded from WHATSAPP WEB and generally combine 4-5 image files to PDF. If this feature used only once then it works for some times.
But if I have 2 sets of image files (for which i wish to create 2 sets of PDF), then this feature works only once (that too sometimes) and when i try to repeat it second time, then "SOUND IS HEARD" and nothing happens.
Experiencing this problem since i bought MBP 8 months back, but didn't bother to write it down. Writing down this after seeing this thread as it replicates my issue exactly.

Got the exact same issue :
I tried to make a PDF with the quick action "Create PDF" for one file JPG format but after the sound which normally mean that it worked I don't see any new file and got nothing in the background process.
I used it before (about 2 months ago) and it worked perfectly. I don't know if it is an issue from an update but hope it will be fixed quickly.

Not really. I have no problem selecting a jpg file and creating a PDF from it. Are you trying to convert more than one at a time?

Both files (JPEG) are located in the same sub-folder under "Documents".
I tried as you suggested -> Duplicate one file and create a pdf of the duplicated file. This time, it didn't work either and even though, the sound I was hearing yesterday disappeared.
Would it be possible that there is one system preference blocking the function to work?

At first, I was trying to convert 2 jpeg at the same time. As it didn’t work, I tried with 1 file only .... and unfortunately, it doesn’t work either.
