Refund
If Apple has decided to return or refund my money for the app purchases, and I’ve canceled the card that was used to purchase the apps, where exactly is my refund money going? Or is it just floating around in the atmosphere?

It'll likely come to store credit, but only the iTunes Store staff can say for certain or address issues relating to how it's handled behind the scenes.
