Why is my computer not authorized

every time I try and play a song on my Apple Music in the music app on my MacBook it says “your computer is not authorized. You must authorize this computer from the account menu before you can download previous purchases” I tried looking up different things and trying different things and nothing has worked. I’ve tried to authorize from my computer, my phone, I’ve tried messing with the settings. Nothings Worked and it’s getting pretty annoying because I can’t find any articles helping me.

Hi Loveweeknd,

We understand that you're seeing a message saying your computer isn't authorized when trying to play music, and we want to help.

To help us get a better understanding of the issue, we’d like to ask a few questions.

You mentioned that you tried to authorize your computer; did you use the steps outlined here? Authorize a Mac to play iTunes Store purchases

Is this happening with all music you try to play, or is it only happening when trying to play specific content?

This page also has some information and steps that may help: Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases Please be sure to check out the "Get help" part of the previous link as well.

Take care!
