I can see a lot of people have the same issue I’ve upgraded from 8 plus to an iPhone 11 and the camera quality is blurry and looks as if I have a beauty filter on... I can’t see apple have responded. Is there an answer in regard to the awful camera quality ?

It's possible the focus or exposure may be locked causing this issue. Please follow section "Adjust your focus and exposure" here: About the Camera features on your iPhone
Do you experience this in various lighting and environments? If so, try to Adjust HDR camera settings on iPhone.

This includes removing the case from your iPhone. Sometimes the materials in the case may cause issues with the camera.
