Earlier today, I upgraded my iphone to 14.4.2. Since that time, the camera app opens every 5 minutes. It opens regardless of what I am doing. Even if the phone is locked, it will open. As a result my battery consumption has increased dramatically with the Camera showing as using 66% of battery in the last 24 hours.
Well - I tried something that might have resolved it. I used the Screentime functions to disable the camera app, and then left it like that for a while when it was charging, then later, I re-enabled the app and it's working fine. So far a few hours have passed and the camera app is not popping up anymore. Still no idea why it was doing this.
24 hours later and it's still doing it. Battery totally drained and recharged. I can't be the only one having this issue. Come on Apple!!!!
